Ex-CAN Chair Hayab applauds El-Rufai probe, urges Kaduna residents to unite against a divisive man

Kaduna residents should unite and demand justice in the allegation by lawmakers that former Governor Nasir El-Rufai and his cronies stole N423 billion from public coffers, former state Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) Chairman Joseph Hayab has advocated.
Hayab labelled El-Rufai “divisive” and applauded the state Assembly members for showing courage to come out strongly united to call wrong by its name, regardless of who is involved, urging them to continue with their support and prayers until every deceit is exposed.
“When people engage in divisive action to cover up for the evil they do, it is Godly people who should come out publicly and unite to condemn and resist such a move,” Hayab stressed.
“Our children and future generations will not forgive us if we keep quiet and allow evil like the revelation coming from the investigations by the Kaduna State House of Assembly to go with impunity.
“The current Governor of the state must be applauded for not taking sides and not interfering with the decisions and actions of the legislative house.
“If the Governor were to be from another party, the story would be as if it were a vendetta or witch hunt. By this one act, Uba Sani has proven that leadership is service to God and humanity and not about sectionalism.”
