EPL back after the international break with the battle for European places and avoiding relegation on the minds of most managers

The English Premier League (EPL) resumes tomorrow, Saturday, November 20, 2021, with clubs trying to solidify their EPL status or gunning for European places.
Leicester City host league leader Chelsea, at King Power Stadium in the first match of the afternoon, the match will be officiated by Paul Tierney and kick-off is 1.30 pm Nigerian time.
The game will be followed by six 4 pm games, Crystal Palace are visitors to Burnley at Turf Moor, Simon Hooper will be in charge of the game, Burnley could leave the relegation zone if they win.

Aston Villa play Brighton at Villa park at the same time, in a match that will see the return of Steven Gerrard as the coach of Villa, the home side face the possibility of going into the relegation zone if they lose and Burnley wins, Anthony Taylor will officiate the match.
Another 4 pm game is the clash between Newcastle United and Brentford at St James’ Park, the game will be officiated by Robert Jones.
The Magpies who are now coached by Eddie Howe will remain in the relegation zone no matter the outcome of the game.
Norwich host Southampton at Carrow Road with Martin Atkinson as the referee, this will be Dean Smith’s first game after his sack by Aston Villa.
The red half of Manchester will travel to London to meet Walford at Vicarage Road, Jonathan Moss will be in charge of the game, which could see United climb above Arsenal with a win.
The last of Saturday’s 4 pm games is between Wolverhampton Wanderers and West Ham, Mike Dean will officiate the match at Molineux Stadium. West Ham could go joint top with Chelsea on points if they win.
Liverpool will host Arsenal at Anfield in the biggest game of the weekend. The Gunners could go ahead of their host into 4th position if they win, but a loss will see Klopp’s side go five points clear of the visitors. Micheal Oliver will officiate the match and it starts at 6.30 pm.
Two games will be played on Sunday, the first is the 3 pm game between Manchester City and Everton, the game will be officiated by Stuart Attwell, the match could see City go joint top with Chelsea if they win and Chelsea are beaten by Leicester City.
Week 12 games will be rounded up with the match between Tottenham Hotspur and Leeds United at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium by 5.30 pm and Andre Marriner will be in charge.
