Despite subtle threats by the Federal Government, youths protesting against Police brutality under the platform of #ENDSARS#, are regrouping at various points, causing traffic on major roads and streets. By 10 am, our reporter gathered that the protesters had taken over Idi Iroko highway, making it difficult for motorists from Lagos to Otta, unable to access the road.
Agbara end of the Lagos-Badagry expressway, has also been seized by the youths, causing serious traffic on the axis. A stranded commuter who spoke to our correspondent on the development, said, though the roadblocks were inconveniencing to the public, the youths conducted themselves reasonably. . She called on the government to dialogue with them to arrive at an amicable solution to the stressful issue.
