Emmanuel Adebayor reveals worst career decision ever

After an illustrious career in England where he played for four Premier League clubs, the 33-year-old disclosed his worst decision ever as a player

Emmanuel Adebayor has revealed that his transfer move to English Premier League side, Crystal Palace in January 2016 remains the worst decision ever in his entire career.

The Togo international joined the Eagles as a free agent from Tottenham Hostpur after spending four years at the White Hart Lane.

The former Arsenal and Manchester City forward revealed that he enjoyed his time in the English top-flight but his short stint at the south London club remains a mistake.

“I truly experienced some beautiful moments in England, at the heart of the country’s best teams,” Adebayor told L’Equipe.

“I was happy over there, and my family was as well.

“The only mistake I made was to sign for Crystal Palace in January 2016.

“I made the decision to please my advisers.
