Nigeria’s ex-international footballer and Chelsea former director, Mike Emenalo, might be on his way to Italian Serie A giants, AC Milan, if the reports coming in from the San Siro is to be believed.
The Italian sports news outlet, Gazzetta Dello sports, stated that the former Nigerian left back was being considered for the post of Director of football at Milan.
Emenalo is being considered alongside Walter Sabatini, Cristiano Giuntoli, Ariedo Braida, and Andrea Berta for the post currently held by Massimiliano Mirabelli.
The Nigerian resigned his position as director of football at Chelsea in November 2017, taking up a similar role at French Ligue one side, AS Monaco.
Seven-time European champion AC Milan is presently 13- points off the pace of the Serie A top four teams, which means playing in the UEFA Champions League is but a mirage.
Emenalo made three appearances for Nigeria’s Super Eagles at the 1994 World Cup in the United States.
