Nigerians have decried the use of the military every time the country is conduction elections saying it is not war.
They said even under military regimes, Nigeria did not deploy the military the way they are under civilian dispensation.
According to them, a federal high court under Ibrahim Buba has ruled that it is unconstitutional for the government to deploy troops for the conduct of elections without the approval of the National Assembly.
Coming under the hashtag #ElectionNotWar, they voiced serious concern and said the presence of military officials in polling units will strike fear in the minds of voters.
