The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has re-arrested controversial crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, aka Bobrisky, after regaining his freedom from police custody.
He was picked up at the international wing of the Murtala Mohammed International Airport in Lagos days after he was released on bail by the Nigeria police authorities.
The dramatic arrest took place on Thursday evening as Bobrisky was about to board a flight to London.

Eyewitnesses reported that the social media influencer was escorted out of the plane in front of other passengers.
After his arrest, the embattled Bobrisky took to his official Instagram and wrote, “Nigerians help me, EFCC just arrested me. I’m badly injured.”
Last week, he was detained by the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) at the Seme border in Lagos, while allegedly attempting to escape the country.
Bobrisky has been under investigation after an audio recording in which he allegedly claimed he was permitted to serve his six-month jail term outside of Kirikiri prison due to “influential connections” surfaced online.
