Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, has been commended on his stewardship particularly in agriculture, road construction, education, and healthcare.
Leader of Fountain of Joy Outreach, Daniel Echewodo, gave the commendation saying Ikpeazu has raised the bar of good governance in the state.
He said the governor has improved on the strides of his predecessor, Theodore Orji, and urged him to remain focused.
He noted that Abia has remained peaceful as Ikpeazu listens and carries everybody along, including the opposition.
Echewodo told TheNiche in Umuahia that Abians support the government because they have seen in Ikpeazu a leader who is transparent, open, trusting, cool-headed and one with integrity.
“I have taken time to monitor the activities of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu and I can tell you that the people are happy because he is doing well,” Echewodo stressed.
“I am also a farmer and I can tell you that many farmers have received loan to assist them produce more.
“Although I have not received I know it is a gradual process and all genuine farmers will benefit from. We have been given forms to fill and to be processed for the loan and I can say that the process is transparent.
“Aside from agriculture there is peace in the state as the governor has been able to integrate all and sundry. I know that in the education and health sectors his administration is on top of the challenges and doing quite a lot.”
Echewodo, who also praised the efforts of Orji, said Ikpeazu is on track and urged Abians to continue support his administration.
