Referee Assoumane Moussa Gnali and his assistants from Niger Republic are due in Nigeria on Thursday, ahead of Saturday’s 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier between Nigeria and Chad.

 

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) had appointed Gnali, as well as fellow Nigeriens Sadissou Idi (Assistant Referee 1), Abdoul Aziz Moctar Saley (Assistant Referee 2) and Gomno Daouda (Reserve Referee) to take charge of the Group G match.

 

Officials told thenff.com on Wednesday that the officials are expected in Nigeria on Thursday aboard an ASKY Airline flight.

 

Meanwhile, the delegation of the Chad team will arrive in Abuja on Thursday and proceed to Kaduna same day.

 

A 41-man contingent will arrive aboard an Air France flight from Paris, where the Les Sao had been training for the big match.

 

There are 22 players in the delegation, with seven technical officials led by Coach Emmanuel Tregoat, and 12 administrative officials.

 

Tregoat, who led the Les Sao to win the Central Africa Championship in Equatorial Guinea in December last year, during which they edged Congo’s Red Devils 3-2 in the final, has included France –based duo Maruis Mbaiam and Yaya Karim, as well as former Club Africain of Tunisia ace Ezechiel N’Douassel and Morocco –based winger Djime Nan Leger.

 

The full team is: Aldongar Natar, Karl Max Dany, Alselmo Kiliout Massama, Beadoum Monde, Betorangal Morgan, Collins, Djime Nan Leger, Doumnan Dagba Herman, Haroun Nadjim, Kedigui Hilaire, Kodion Ange, Labbo Mahamat, Madtoingue Constant, Mahamat Azrack Yassine, Mbaiam Maruis, Mbaradji Dillah, Mbaya Brice, Ndoram Rodrigue, N’Douassel Ezechiel, Nicaise Kevin, Ninga Casimir, Yaya Karim.

 

The Match Commissioner, Mr. G. Andy Quamie from Liberia, is also expected on Thursday, and will take charge of Friday’s match coordination meeting.
