Don’t use LGA platform as training ground for human management, Atu tells aspirants

By Uzor Odigbo

Legislative Assistant to the Chairman House of Representatives Committee on Urban Development and Regional Planning at the National Assembly Mr. Benjamin Atu has advise aspirants who have not manage humans to stepped out of the Etsako East Chairmanship race rather than use their council to do refresher course.

He also cautioned the electorates in Etsako East against voting for those who have not successfully managed animals in their farms as Chairman of the council, saying those who could not manage animals cannot manage or engage humans for the benefits of the masses. The choice before us is a choice between light and darkness.

He challenges those contesting against Hon. Princess Benedicta Attoh to first of all develop themselves before seeking to develop others.

He invited them to a live debate on their capacity to manage humans. “I am open and ready for a live debate with those who are seeking to be the Chairman of my local government,” he said.

According to him, “Etsako East will be doomed if we elect a poor and inexperienced leader as Chairman. He warmed against making the mistake of voting for those who would come and use the council as a training ground to sharpen their leadership skills rather than hitting the ground running.”
“Let us give Etsako East to Hon. Princess Benedicta Attoh for her to restore the glory of the council for our collective interest rather than voting for those seeking vainglory.”

In a statement issued in Abuja and made available to media at the National Assembly, Benjamin Atu who was the Media Aide to Senator Francis Alimikhena and former spokesperson to the Deputy Governor of Edo State Comrade Philip Shaibu, assured that victory is already knocking on the door of Hon. Princess Benedicta Attoh the PDP candidate. We are merely waiting for the door to be open for the benefit of all of us in Etsako East on Saturday when her victory will be announced the Statement added.
