President of the United States (U.S.) Donald Trump, has continued to claim that a recount of the ballot in some states would guarantee his victory in the election. But every time he makes the claim, the media and tech giant, Twitter, would flag it as unsubstantiated, for which some have alleged a global conspiracy against his re-election.

Already, Georgia has agreed for a recount to determine if allegations of vote fraud as alleged by the Trump campaign was true.

Trump’s electoral college votes still stand at 214 far behind Joe biden who is at 279, exceeding the 270 mark to win the U.S. presidency.

Trump hopes that a Georgia and Pennsylvania recount would leave Joe biden with electoral college votes deficit and bolster his chances, especially if North Carolina, which has a 15 electoral college votes is eventually called for him.

Trump is leading in North Carolina by 50.1 per cent while Biden trails behind with 48.7 per cent. The election count has reached 99 per cent reporting, but Trump is anxious for its call.

“It took long enough! What is taking North Carolina so long? Are they looking for more ballots to fix that one also?

“Now with a recount, we will win Georgia also. Pennsylvania & Michigan wouldn’t let our Poll Watchers & Observers into counting rooms. Illegal!” Trump tweeted, but was immediately flagged by Twitter claiming it is disputed.
