Popular Music Executive, Michael Collins Ajereh better known as Don Jazzy and ace Afrobeats singer, Ayodeji Balogun aka Wizkid, seem to have put their rift behind after the latter endorsed Ayra Starr’s sophomore album, ‘The Year I Turned 2′.
TheNiche had earlier reported that Wizkid shaded Don Jazzy after his signee, Ladipoe seemingly ridiculed him via a post on X for claiming that ‘hip hop is dead’.
After a fan brought the post to the attention of the ‘Ojuelegba’ crooner, he responded saying, “Lol, never chatting with anyone signed to an influencer. Next.”
He also retweeted two posts suggesting that he was referring to the music producer as the subtle shade sparked outrage on social media.
The Mavin Records boss later took to his Instagram page and unfollowed the singer following the incident.
However, taking to the internet on Friday, Don Jazzy appreciated Wizkid after he endorsed the latest album of his signee, Ayra Starr.
The Grammy winner had praised the album which dropped on Friday and shared its cover and streaming link tweeting: “Superstar [love and eagle emojis].”
Reacting to the post, Don Jazzy reposted the tweet with the caption; “Thanks Big Wiz [eagle emoji].”
