Nigerian record producer and music executive, Michael Collins Ajereh, better  known as Don Jazzy, has donated the sum of N100 million to the NGO of popular social media influencer, Martins Otse, aka VeryDarkMan.

This was disclosed on Thursday in a video message shared by the controversial self-styled activist.

VeryDarkMan, who had previously announced the launch of his NGO, revealed that he initially panicked when he found the money in his bank account.

He stated he suspected it was a glitch or a set-up after some people he reached out to confirm whether the money was from them told him they didn’t make the transfer to him.

He said, “I panicked because I didn’t expect anybody to just send me ₦100m like that, so I thought it was a glitch or maybe someone wanted to set me up, because people had been sending ₦50, ₦100, ₦200, ₦500 and so on, and it’s understandable for me to panic.”

He, however, added that he became relieved after he received a message from Don Jazzy, informing him that he was the one who sent the N100 million to support his NGO.

The development comes as an Ikeja High Court ordered VeryDarkMan to retract a defamatory posts against human rights lawyer, Femi Falana, and his son, Folarin aka Falz.

The judge gave the orders following an ex parte originating application made by Falana and his son against the actions of VDM where he published “unverified audio recording of a one sided narrative by cross dresser Bobrisky” alleging perversion of justice by the family.
