Doctors violate COVID-19 rules, fight bloody over election in Enugu

NMA crisis victim

Medical Doctors under the aegis of Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) today in Enugu ended their election abruptly with a bloody fight leaving many injured.

The doctors disregarded almost all COVID-19 protocols including wearing of masks and physical distancing while pushing themselves during physical encounters between factions for and against conduct of the election.

Trouble started after organisers of the election went ahead with the process of conducting it despite a court order allegedly restraining them from carrying on with it for not following laid down rules.
