DJ Cuppy reveals ADHD affecting her studies at Oxford

Popular Nigerian disc jockey and the daughter of billionaire businessman, Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, better known as DJ Cuppy has opened up that a medical condition is affecting her studies.  

The DJ who is currently studying at the prestigious Oxford University, England, for a master’s degree in African Studies, made the revelation via her Instagram page.  

According to the 29-year-old, she has Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, simply known as ADHD and the medical condition is currently affecting her ability to comprehend.   

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is a medical condition that makes people get restless, have trouble concentrating, and act on impulse.

DJ Cuppy added that as she is currently writing her last term paper and her thesis will soon be due, but noted that her disorder is making the process mentally and emotionally draining.

She, however, assured her fans that despite the challenge, she is determined to finish her studies at the University with flying colours. 

She wrote, “Haven’t been online for a few days as I’ve been dealing with my last term at Oxford University. My thesis is due soon and I am under so much pressure to deliver at such a high academic standard.

“Having never done a research paper before, it’s extremely draining in a mental and even emotional way. My diagnosed ADHD and anxiety have gotten the best of me. I’m going through a rough time, I know but it shall soon pass, and I will finish this paper and hand it in. I have full Godfidence,”
