Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abdulrasheed Bawa, has denied the viral news that former Petroleum Minister, Diezani Allison Madueke, has a collection of diamond bras.
It is not known if diamond bras exist but major Nigerian news outlets had published some of the properties of Diezani which the federal government allegedly listed for auctions, and curiously, her bras were part of it.

According to a report in Punch of October 29, the Diezani property located in highbrow Banana Island Foreshore Estate, Ikoyi, Lagos, include 18 flats and six penthouses located at Building 3, Block B, Bella Vista, Plot 1, Zone N, Federal Government Layout, were listed for auction.
Then the shocker for most Nigerians is that the property include 125 pieces of wedding gowns, 13 pieces of small gowns, 41 pieces of waist trainers, 73 pieces of hard flower, 11 pieces of suit, 11 pieces of invisible bra, 73 pieces of veils, 30 pieces of braziers, 17 pieces of magic skits and 64 pairs of shoes.
But the EFCC chairman said there were no bras among Diezani seized property, blaming the report on fake news. He made the comment when he appeared as a guest in Your View, a news and current affairs programme on TVC.
The host of the programme had asked him if he touched the diamond bras to know how it felt.It was then he denied that bras were part of her seized items. .
He said he was the lead investigator in the Diezani case and ought to know if there was anything like that.
