ARISE Fashion Week (AFW) makes a comeback after six years of lull with 45 designers across the world showcasing their wares.
Beginning from March 30 to April 2 at the Lagos Continental Hotel, the event which last held in 2012, would also display Nigerian designers on the runway.
Upcoming designers are especially thrilled to have the opportunity of attending the event which has attracted other fashion icons such as Naomi Campbell, Alek Wek, Liya Kedebe, Oluchi Orlandi, Grace Bol, Georgie Badiel and Millen Magese.
This year’s event will feature 45 designers from 14 countries such as South Africa, Botswana, Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Senegal, France, Morocco, the United Kingdom, the United States , the Caribbean and Nigeria. The best of these will be selected to showcase their designs during New York Fashion Week (NYFW) in September this year.
