By Valentine Amanze

The Speaker of House of Representatives in Nigeria, Yakubu Dogara, has raised the alarm that the rule of law was nolonger respected by the Federal Government.

He also alleged that the current leadership has made tribalism the order of the day, stressing that democracy has no place for tribalist.

The speaker twitted on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, that when tribalism takes over the rule of law citizens were bound to suffer.

His words: “Regrettably, when tribalism comes into play as against the rule of law as we are now witnessing; harrassments, persecutions, intimidations, threats, high handedness,  dictatorial tendencies,  frame ups, witchhunts, and etc, becomes the rule of law. Sad reality for a democracy!”
