Davido unfollows Portable on IG after singer called him out

Davido has prior to this called Portable who was in the United States and offered to take him on a tour of the country

Ace Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has severed his relationship with colleague, Habeeb Okikiola, aka Portable after he called him out.

TheNiche had earlier reported that  Portable, called the DMW boss out for allegedly giving him ‘bad advice’ during their recent dinner in the United States.

According to the Zazu’ crooner, Davido, who signed with Sony Music, advised him against joining the same label.

He further alleged foul play, saying he is also aiming for a Grammy like the ace singer who urged him to join Empire, a label that might not influence him positively.

Speaking during a recent Instagram Live session with his fans he said: “You are signed to Sony Music, but you’re giving me bad advice in America to get signed to Empire and collect advance. The same Grammy you’re chasing is what I’m also chasing.”

Following Portable’s outburst on social media, Davido decided to unfollowing him on Instagram.

A visit to their respective Instagram accounts on Thursday evening confirmed that the ‘Electricity’ crooner had now unfollowed the controversial singer. 

Meanwhile, Portable had earlier raised alarm that some people were trying to pit him against Davido.

In his words, those advising him were “pushing” him to pick up a fight with the record  label owner but he ignored them because he has helped him in the past.
