Davido says he’ll wear ‘skirt’ if offered 1M dollars as 1Da Banton claims he wrote ‘No Competition’ for him

1Da Banton also disclosed that he produced Davido’s ‘Na Money’ featuring Angelique Kidjo and The Cavemen

Ace Nigerian Afrobeats star and record label owner, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has said he will wear a “skirt” if he was offered half a million dollars or more. 

The Electricity crooner, made this known during a recent interview with American fashion content creator, Mysterious Fashioniest.

According to him,  even though he dislikes such fashion trend, he might consider wearing it if he is offered a lot of money.

It all started when the show host asked him what fashion trend he dislikes.

The interviewer asked, “What’s one fashion trend you dislike?”

Responding, Davido said, “Skirt; men that wears skirts. I will never wear skirt. Except if I am offered half a million or a million dollars [laughs].”

Meanwhile, popular Nigerian singer, 1Da Banton has claimed he wrote Davido’s song, ‘No Competition’ which featured Asake.

The ‘No Wahala’ crooner further disclosed that he produced Davido’s ‘Na Money’ featuring Angelique Kidjo and The Cavemen.

Speaking while featuring on the latest episode of the Afrobeats Podcast hosted by Adesope, 1Da Banton said:

“I produced Davido’s ‘Na Money’ with Cavemen and wrote ‘No Competition’ featuring Asake.”
