Davido returns to social media prior to performance at World Cup 

Davido was scheduled to perform at the opening ceremony of the World Cup but could not make it due to the loss of his son, who drowned recently

Ace Nigerian singer and record label owner, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has finally returned to social media following his decision to stay off the platforms since October after the death of his son, Ifeanyi Adeleke. 

Davido took to his official Instagram to share pictures of himself and the love of his life, Chioma Rowland. 

The “Electricity” crooner also posted pictures of members of his crew from Doha, Qatar ahead of his performance at the closing ceremony of the World Cup, on Sunday.

He went on to caption the photos, “worldcupqatar2022” on Instagram.

Meanwhile, the Afrobeats singer was spotted in the oil-rich Qatar, in the company of Ghanaian reggae singer, Stonebwoy and Black Stars assistant coach, George Boateng, ahead of his performance at the closing ceremony of this year’s World Cup.

His performance at the concluding ceremony of the football tournament on Sunday was his second public appearance after the tragic passing of his beloved son, Ifeanyi in October.

His first since going off the radar, was the swearing-in ceremony of his uncle, Ademola Adeleke, the executive governor of Osun State. 

Davido was earlier scheduled to perform at the opening ceremony of the World Cup but could not make it due to the loss of his son, who drowned inside his swimming pool.
