Davido was recently called out by colleagues and other celebrities who alleged he owed large sums of money

Popular Afrobeats singer and record label owner, David Adeleke, better known as Davido has described those alleging he is owing a lot of debts as clout chasers.
The ‘Electricity’ made this known via his social media page, where he also warned that no one should make a case for those accusing him when he starts retaliating.
Some media outlets recently reported that Davido was called out on social media by some of his colleagues and other celebrities who accused him of owning large sums of money.
It all started when a man identified as AbuSalam alleged that the ace singer owed him N212 million.
This was followed by another claim on the Instagram page of self-acclaimed relationship expert, Blessing CEO, that Davido owed Lagos celebrity auto dealer, IVD N4.5 million for a car he had purchased for his aide, Israel DMW.

Again, another music producer and singer Samklef, chastised Davido for refusing to pay a University of Lagos (UNILAG) student, Mastermind, the N1 million allegedly owed him since 2020.
Reacting to these allegations via his X page, formally Twitter, Davido tweeted:: “Make nobody beg me.”
The singer in a separate post, insinuated that those trolling him on social media are only seeking attention.
“You want to be famous ba?” he also wrote.
