Nigerian Afrobeats singer and record label owner, David Adeleke, aka Davido, has disclosed that he is currently working on a song with Canadian rapper, singer, and songwriter. Aubrey Drake Graham better known as Drake.
The “Electricity” crooner made the revelation recently while featuring on the Kris Fade show on Virgin Radio, Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.
Davido during the chat, also hinted that he is also looking forward to collaborations with other global pop stars such as Harry Styles, Rihanna, and Ed Sheeran.

He went on to say while the collaboration with Drake is currently o n going, he is still giving working with Ed Sheeran a thought.
Speaking on his plans, the ace singer said: “Harry Styles…I have a song, well it’s on my album already. But I really want to work with Harry Styles. And Rihanna, Drake.
“I’m already working with Drake. I’m trying to think…Ed Sheeran!”
Prior to this development, Davido had worked with popular international stars such as Chris Brown, Nicki Minaj, Lil Baby and Da Baby.
Drake, on his part, has featured in a few Afrobeat songs, some of which are Wikzid’s ‘come closer’ and ‘Ojuelegba remix’ including Tems’ Fountains.
Meanwhile, Davido recently stated that the Canadian rapper helped in putting the global spotlight on Afrobeats while answering questions during an interview on Bootleg Kev Podcast.
He said, “There are always narratives like, “Oh, Afrobeats was definitely huge before Drake” but Drake is Drake, so I’d be lying if I said he didn’t put some spotlight on Afrobeats, and you know it was dope.
