Popular Nigerian singer and record label owner, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, sent the internet buzzing after admitting he is quite close to ace musician, Ayodeji Balogun a.k.a Wizkid.
Davido made this known during a recent interview on Beat 99.9FM, Lagos, where he disclosed that Wizkid checks up on him every week via calls.
The 30-year-old went on to confirm that he and the Grammy award-winning winner will be embarking on a joint tour next year.

The “Electricity” crooner also hinted at an upcoming collaboration between him and Wizkid.
He said, “I would be lying to you if I tell you that [the tour] is not in the talks. It’s looking like next year. I think me and Wiz are probably going to drop a record. Shout out to my brother. He literally calls me every week and checks on me. Shout out to Wiz”.
Wizkid recently endorsed Davido’s fourth studio album ‘Timeless’ which finally dropped on Thursday, March 30, after the death of the singer’s son, Ifeanyi Adeleke delayed the initial release.
“Inside!! Y’all go listen to timeless by my brother @Davido,” Wizkid tweeted on Friday.
