Afrobeats singer and record label owner, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has disputed the figure declared as the total amount he and his wife, Chioma, earned while dancing during their wedding ceremony.
According to the ‘Electricity’ crooner, the money he took home didn’t correspond with the amount they were sprayed at the wedding venue.
He made this known on social media, while commenting under a now-viral video of guests spraying him and his wife money during the event.
Speaking on his verified social media page, Davido wrote, “The video of all the money dem spray is and wetin we carry go house no dey tally.” [sic].

Meanwhile, before his latest claim on his earnings while tying the knot, Davido had bragged that the wristwatch he donned on his wedding day was a very expensive one.
Speaking in a video from the wedding venue, the ace singer claimed that the wristwatch he wore with his first outfit was worth $800,000 (approximately N1.2 billion).
“Ain’t no fake watch, mehn. $800,000, man,” Davido said while flashing his watch on the camera.
