Music star, David Adedeji Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, is upbeat that the Osun State’s governorship election would be won by his uncle, Ademola Adeleke, who is the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate.
Davido who was in Osun on Thursday to mobilise support for his uncle, made the claim on the ground that the electorates in Osun were already rejecting the money of the governing All Progressives Congress (APC).
In a tweet on his verified Twitter handle, the award winning music star revealed that the electorates are determine to return the PDP on the governorship saddle of the state.
According to Davido, the ongoing exercise in Osun State has signaled hope for the nation.

Davido later tweeted that security operatives and staff of INEC are forcing the voters in Ife East, Modakeke at Boosa Market to vote the APC but the voters are refusing.
He said: “Security men and INEC staff have circumvented the voting process in ife east, Modakeke, Boosa market unit. They are forcing people to vote for APC. @inecnigeria !!!! The people are resisting!! Abeg munch this officer face for me.”
Davido is the son of business mogul, Adedeji Adeleke, who is the elder brother to the PDP contestant, Ademola Adeleke.
Davido is a singer, songwriter and record producer, and during elections, always throw his weight behind his family in mobilisiing votes.
