Davido announces wedding with Chioma after three kids

Singer Davido (David Adeleke) has announced plans to marry his partner Chioma Rowland after nearly a decade of being together during which period they had three children – although the first, Ifeanyi, died in 2022.
David and Chioma attended Babcock University, Ilishan Remo in Ogun where he studied music and she economics. They met in 2013 but were “just friends” until 2015 when they officially began a romantic journey.
Reports say their traditional wedding is scheduled for June 25, 2024 in Lagos.
Confirming the news in a video shared on Instagram by his long time associate, Tobi Adeboyega, a Nigerian pastor based in the United Kingdom, Davido invited his friends to join in the celebration.
“Guys, you have to come to Nigeria on the 25th [of June] for my wedding,” Davido said in the video.
The wedding news comes after the couple welcomed twins in 2023, following the tragic loss of Ifeanyi the year before. The couple got engaged shortly after the incident.
