Davido was the subject of AY jokes during his recent performance in Warri, Delta State

Ace Afrobeats singer and record label owner, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has reacted to a public apology by comedian, Ayo Makun aka AY, following his extreme joke on him and his baby mamas.
The comic actor has been in the news after a video of him aiming a dig at Davido during his recent performance in Warri, Delta State made the rounds on social media.
AY during the show made the ‘Electricity’ crooner the subject of his jokes as he focused on the size of the singer’s manhood and his multiple baby mamas.
Speaking in the now-viral video, AY said: “Davido, with his small prick, dey give people belle, belle, belle, belle. With my big Warri prick, 13 years belle no come.”
His joke about the famous singer drew criticism from netizens, who reprimanded the comedian for publicly disrespecting his fellow entertainer.

Following the backlash, the comedian took to his Instagram page to tender an unreserved apology to the singer, saying his jokes were misconstrued and taken out of context by bloggers.
Tendering the apology via his social media page, AY wrote: “I am very sorry for the way that joke came out in Warri. You have every right to be angry after seeing how it was used by blogs. Please understand that we are all constantly learning in the entertainment business. I deserve any backlash coming my way for the poorly delivered joke in Warri. So, no excuses at all, my Aburo. No reason for them. I remain your number one fan, and I love you, @davido.”
Reacting to the apology, Davido took to the comedian’s comments section to assure him that he had been forgiven.
He wrote: “Nothing spoil baba mi.”
