Popular music act, Davido has disclosed that business mogul, Aliko Dangote, is a modest business, and his financial adviser

Nigerian musician and songwriter, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has revealed that Africa’s richest man, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, encouraged him to save for rainy days.
He also said Dangote, who happens to be a close friend to his dad, Adedeji Adeleke, is extremely prudent and might not have bought a car in the last 10 years.
Speaking in a chat with Earn Your Leisure podcast, the 29-year-old said: “The crazy thing is just how normal they have lived their lives. I don’t think Dangote has bought a new car in the last ten years”.
The very successful artist also credited the businessman with taking him home after his birth.
In his words: “Dangote drove me home from the hospital when I was born.”
Davido also noted he gives him a lot of financial advice whenever they speak or see.
“Anytime I see Uncle Aliko, he tells me David save your money,” he added

When asked how he made his mark in the entertainment industry and how he has been able to manage the talents he discovered, the DMW boss has this to say:
“It’s all love, shout out to this new generation, I hope they don’t make the mistakes that we made. I wasn’t welcomed when I came into the industry based on my background.
“I had to show them that I am good at this. I have a lot of friends in the industry and I feel like unity will make us stronger.
“Shout out to these new artistes, they are going crazy. They are innovative. They are very smart, young and bright artistes coming out of this country. All of them come here, we hang out. I tell them my two cents”.
