Dakolo advocates for men on Val’s Day, ladies clap back 

Dakolo argued on Instagram that 2023 has been a very challenging year for men and appealed to ladies to make their lovers happy on Valentine’s Day

Ace Nigerian singer, songwriter, and music producer, Timi Dakoko has taken to social media to make a case for fellow Nigerian men.   

Barely a few days to this year’s Valentine’s Day, the popular singer in a message to ladies on his official Instagram page said men in the country deserve all the pampering they can get during the celebration. 

According to Dakolo, this year has been a challenging one for the men already and they need their women to go all out for them on February 14.

In his words: “Ladies, it’s been a really tough year for men. Feb 14th is around the corner, Pamper us. As in Go all out for Us. We deserve it.”

After the post found its way to social media, netizens took to the comment section to react to Timi Dakolo’s plea for men on Valentine’s Day. 

However, while some agreed with him, majority of the ladies clapped back, insisting it’s the duty of their men to take them out during the day earmarked for the celebration of love. 

An IG year, kusshyfabrics_n_more wrote: “If I should be sincere with myself eh, my husband deserves all the pampering. That man don see shege. But we thank God for bringing him to a wealthy place after going through fire and water.” 

Another internet year, msmenalicious said: “Daddy wey dey pampers according to Moses Bliss will pamper you..” 

isbccakeacademy added: “I’m going all out this year, 4 boxers instead of 2 .” 

Another netizen, kes_ca_cakes said: “With which money are we using to go all out? Abeg men dey your lane oh.” 

While ovien_efe wrote: “Na to look away remain like this othis message no concern me.”
