There is a strong likelihood that the APC- led Federal Government of Nigeria had already concluded plans to replace the embattled incumbent Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Walter Samuel Nkanu Onnoghen by seeking to appoint Justice Tanko Muhammed as the acting Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN).
This revelation was made known on Friday (today) by the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP), through its spokesperson, Imo Ugochinyere, while addressing a press conference in Abuja, Nigeria.
According to Ugochinyere, it has also been discovered that the Federal Government of Nigeria (FGN) has equally concluded plans to effect the arrest of the embattled Chief Justice of Nigeria, Walter Onnoghen, on Tuesday.
The CUPP spokesperson explained that the arrest would be carried out shortly after a bench warrant would have been issued by the Code of Conduct Tribunal (CCT) against Onnoghen on Tuesday January 22, the date adjourned by CCT for his arraignment.
