CAF Cup draws places Enyimba, Rivers United and teams from North Africa in what promises to be an exciting football cracker

Nigeria’s two representatives in the CAF Cup have been drawn to face teams in North Africa.
That is the highlight of the CAF Cup draw ceremony held this Tuesday at the October offices of CAF on the outskirts of Cairo.
Rivers United are drawn to face Al Masry of Egypt while Enyimba will face Al Ittihad of Libya in the CAF Cup competition.
The 16 teams qualified from the CAF Cup second preliminary round were drawn to face the losing 16 teams from the Champions League second preliminary round.
Head of CAF CUP Competitions Khaled Nassar conducted the draw and was assisted by Egypt and Zamalek legend Ismail Youssef.

The CAF Confederation Cup, officially named TotalEnergies CAF Confederation Cup, is an annual club association football competition organised by the CAF since 2004. Clubs qualify for the competition based on their performance in their national leagues and cup competitions. It is the second-tier competition of African club football, ranking below the CAF Champions League. The winner of the tournament faces the winner of the CAF Champions League in the following season’s CAF Super League CuP.
