The publisher of the defunct Newswatch magazine and National Mirror Newspaper, Jimoh Ibrahim, has charged the governor of Ondo State, RotimI Akeredolu (SAN), to focus his attention on saving lives rather than constructing bridges and roads during this time of coronavirus pandemic.
Ibrahim gave the advice, while donating N40 million to Ondo State government as his contribution in the fight to curtail spread of coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria.
The gesture, according to him, is intended at helping to combat the spread of COVID-19 in the state.
While donating the money in Akure, the Ondo State capital, Jimoh Ibrahim asked governor Akeredolu to involve private hospitals as testing centres, adding that his donation was to help combat the spread of coronavirus pandemic in the state.
Jimoh Ibrahim also prayed to God to strengthen Governor Rotimi Akeredolu and give him the wisdom to pilot the affairs of the state.
