In order to get a wide/spacious environment for the upkeep of those suspected to have come in contact with people that tested positive to coronavirus infection, the federal government has chosen four stadiums in the country and National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) camps nationwide to be used as isolation centres in the fight against coronavirus pandemic.
This decision was made known on Friday (today) by the Federal Government of Nigeria,(FGN) through the Minister of Youth and Sports, Sunday Dare.
The minister said: “Mr. President has approved for the Ministry of Youth and Sports to open and make available the stadium in Surulere Lagos, Ibadan, Abuja, and Kaduna, as well as our NYSC camps nationwide for use as isolation centers as they are needed. We are in touch with relevant authorities.”
