Also, the  grandmother of the victim, Taiye  told the court that the granddaughter confessed on her own that she was coming from the pastor’s house when her in-law gave her a frog jump punishment

She stated this when she was asked by the court if her granddaughter confessed on her own or was forced to and also the type of punishment she was given.

The case was adjourned to September 17, 2018, for the continuation of hearing.

TheNiche first reported the story of Pastor Adewale who lured nine-year-old Ayomide to his apartment and defiled her.

When the Pastor was asked if he knew Ayomide, he denied it until they brought her and she pointed at him among three others.

When the Baale of Badagry took the Pastor’s phone, the first number he saw on it, which the Pastor saved as Lady B, was that of his wife.  When he called the lady, she said the number belongs to her husband. When they asked her if she knew where her husband was, she said the husband is at Ori-Oke (Mountain) for over two years.
