Spurs boss, Antonio Conte acknowledges having affection for embattled Chelsea striker, Lukaku despite face-off with Manager, Tuchel

Tottenham boss, Antonio Conte has revealed his admiration for Chelsea striker, Romelu Lukaku after his controversial interview, where he criticised his manager, Thomas Tuchel.
Conte made this known while responding to a question on Sky Sports in respect of the feud between the former Inter Milan striker and his manager.
Lukaku in a recent interview publicly criticised his manager and suggested he was not happy at Stamford Bridge, adding that he was keen on returning to Inter Milan at some point in his career.

Conte, who was Lukaku’s coach at Inter Milan and with whom he won the Italian league in 2021, was asked about the striker’s current situation at Stamford Bridge after Tottenham’s victory over Watford on Saturday.
He responded saying Lukaku belongs to another club and as such he does not want to speak about him, he, however, revealed his admiration for the striker.28-year-old striker.
He said: “Romelu is a player from another team,
“You know the affection I have for him but I am not talking about players from other teams even though I have a great deal of affection for him and that will always be there.”
Meanwhile, Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel left out Romelo Lukaku in Chelsea’s 2-2 draw against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge in Sunday night’s encounter.
