The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Abia State has warned its 10 newly inaugurated liaison officers to see their appointments as agents of change and therefore should avoid acts capable of eroding the party.
Abia House of Assembly members representing Isiala Ngwa South State Constituency and Chairman, House Committee on Appropriation, Chikwendu Kalu, gave the advice while inaugurating liaison office /officers as well as official declaration of “Kwere mee foundation” at Isiala Ngwa South State Constituency office in the state.
He said that their choice to represent their various wards at the liaison office was deliberate considering their contributions and sacrifices offered to the party both at local and state level.
Kalu said that the office would not hesitate to show the way out to any official found sabotaging efforts of the party and stressed the party will only accommodate those that worked for its growth.
He assured that hard work and dedication would attract rewards, while he urged
them to ensure everyone is carried along in their wards to attract more rewards from the party.
The lawmaker said that he would continue to identify with the people despite the present economic distraction and expressed his gratitude towards supports he received from his constituency and promised to be identifying with them at all times.
