Former US President, Bill Clinton has queried the age of another ex-American President, Donald Trump, saying despite leaving the White House more than three decades ago, he’s “still younger” than him.
He made this known during his address at the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in Chicago, Illinois on Wednesday.
Clinton is about two months younger than Trump. Both men are also younger than President Biden, but a generation older than Vice President Kamala Harris.
Speaking at the event, the former president said, “Two days ago, I turned 78. The oldest man in my family who is still living. And the only personal vanity I want to assert is that I’m still younger than Donald Trump.”

He went on to boast that out of the 51 million jobs created in the US in the last 35 years, Democrats made 50 million of the jobs available
“Since the end of the cold war in 1989, America has created about 51 million new jobs. I swear, I checked this three times. Even I cannot believe it. What’s the score? Democrats 50, Republicans 1” he said.
Clinton further alleged that the Republican candidate, Trump is in the US presidential race for selfish gains.
He added, “He mostly talks about himself. So the next time you hear him, don’t count the lies — count the I’s … he tries to get his lungs open by saying ‘me me me me me’ … do you want to spend the next four years talking about crowd size?”
