Clem Ohameze, Nollywood actor, has asked Nigerians to pray for him, as he embarks on surgery to correct a defect on his neck

Nollywood actor, Clem Ohameze, has revealed that he is expected to undergo procedural surgery on his neck very soon.
In a video that has since gone viral, the actor said he was involved in a car accident not so long ago, which landed him in the hospital.
The 50-year-old also said on getting to the hospital, he had a series of tests, which included an x-ray to ascertain the extent of injury sustained.

He added that the x-ray revealed his cervical 3rd vertebrae had collapsed on the 4th, thereby causing pressure on his spinal cord and the retardment of his lower limb.
Clem Ohameze said he was treated and he got better. He, however, relapsed, as he suddenly began to experience difficulty while walking again.
According to him, further scans showed he would need surgery to separate the cervical vertebrae 3 from 4 to free h spinal cord permanently.
He concluded by saying the procedure is a complicated one and he would be needing prayers from well-meaning Nigerians.
“After they showed me the procedure and how it’s been done, I was scared. I was told that they are going to cut open the neck and physically separate the cervical vertebrae three from four and then use an iron plate to plate it with some screws so it can remain permanent,”
“It was scary but I have no choice. I seriously need people’s thoughts and prayers as I go in for this procedural surgery.” Ohameze said.
