Goals from Riyah Mahrez and three other Man City players send The Citizen 4 points clear at the top of Premier League

League leaders and reigning champions, Manchester City put four goals past relegation threatened Newcastle United at St James Park in one of the three Sunday games.
The visitors opened their account in the 5th minute when Newcastle defender Ciaran Clark failed to deal with Joao Cancelo’s cross and Ruben Dias headed it into the net to give the visitors a 1-0 lead.
City doubled their lead in the 27th minute when Cancelo took the ball from 35 yards and beat two Newcastle players before scoring a screamer.

Thereafter, Riyad Mahrez scored his 50th Premier League goal in the 63rd minute after superbly volleying in a delicious cross from Oleksandr Zinchenko to make it 3-0 to Man City
The blue half of Manchester added one more goal after Raheem Sterling scored after an assist from Gabriel Jesus in the 86th minute.
This victory means City are 4 points clear and will be top of the Premier League at Christmas.
Meanwhile, Newcastle remained rooted in the 19th position, on the same point as Norwich who are in the last position, they are also three points below Watford, who sit in the 17th position in the league table.
