The Peoples Democratic Party Governors Forum (PDP-GF) has announced the appointment of a former federal lawmaker, Hon CID Maduabum as its Director General.
This is coming a day after the Forum elected the Sokoto State governor, Aminu Tambuwal as the new chairman, replacing the outgoing Bayelsa State governor, Seriake Dickson.
A statement by Muhammad Bello, Special Adviser Media and Publicity to Tambuwal on Tuesday said the appointment was sequel to a resolution of the Forum in June 2019 which was reconfirmed on January 26, 2020.
The statement said Maduabum “is expected to assist in repositioning and reorganising the PDP-GF to play its role in nation building under the leadership of the new chairman, Gov. Aminu Waziri Tambuwal.”
Maduabum, a Masters Degree holder in law, a legal practitioner of 35 years, a former two-term member of the House of Representatives, a former Deputy Chief of Staff and Chief of Staff to former presiding officers in the National Assembly, is an experienced administrator.
