Chris Brown speaks “Yoruba” while singing Davido’s song

Chris Brown reciprocated Davido’s gesture in 2019, after featuring him in his songs in the same year, and together they have now made 3 songs

A video clip of American singer, Chris Brown singing a song he did with ace Nigerian singer, David Adeleke, better known as Davido during a performance in Texas has gone viral and caused a buzz on social media. 

In the now viral clip, the U.S. pop singer caught the attention of many Nigerians, as he was heard rendering a track off Davido’s second studio album, ABT, a duet with Yoruba lyrics during the concert. 

Chris Brown during the stage performance showed off his dancing skills and thrilled the audience by singing in Yoruba language.

After the clip made its way online, Nigerians took to the comment section to react to the clip of Chris Brown singing in a Nigerian language. 

Many of the netizens who commented, noted that the video demonstrated Davido is accepted globally.

An IG user, @ThyFealadire said: “Shey you wan test man. Omo na Die oo.You wan test this. I go be your guy.” 

Another internet user, @callmesambee wrote: “Twitter people really made us look down on Davido’s album lotta classics on there.” 

@dohtunn added: “Davido has promoted the culture and will continue to do so!.” 

Another netizen, @@wazO_01 said: “Easiest language to learn on earth, is YORUBA WA.” 

While @Afeez311600641 wrote: “And 30BG said Davido doesn’t do gum body. But he pack Chris and young tug.”

Davido featured Chris Brown in 2019 and Chris Brown reciprocated it by featuring him in his song and together they have now made three different songs.

In 2019, they made the songs, “Blow My Mind” and “Lower Body” and in 2020 they added another song “Shopping Spree”.
