For putting on the emblematic Biafran attire, Nollywood actor, Chiwetalu Agu, has been arrested again for the second time in 24 hours, the Actors Guild of Nigeria president, Emeka Rollas has said.
Agu was first arrested on Thursday, October 7 by soldiers in Onitsha and released the following day only to be rearrested by the Department of State Services (DSS), the Punch has reported.
Punch says AGN President, Emeka Rollas, revealed in a telephone chat with it’s correspondents on Friday that Agu was arrested by the secret police shortly after he was released by the Nigerian Army.
Rollas said: “The AGN is aware that the DSS has picked up Chiwetalu Agu after the Nigerian Army arrested him.
“We are currently working on securing his release.”
