Chidinma Ojukwu who only a few weeks ago admitted to killing Super TV boss, Usifo Ataga, has made a U-turn during an eight minutes video clip.
In the video, Chidinma said Ataga was killed when she stepped out to buy some food, a tale many people say was more unbelievable than the initial one.
In the video, which lasted for eight minutes, Chidinma, wearing fresh clothes, recanted all she said when the Lagos State Police boss, Hakeem Odumosu, hurriedly paraded her before journalists even before adequately covering all the grounds.
But in the new viral video released, Chidinma claimed that Ataga was already killed before she got to the apartment after she had gone out to get some food.
“I never had anything to do with his death, I don’t know who might have come into the apartment, definitely, somebody did that, but I don’t know who that person is, I don’t know what happened when I left to buy the food. I don’t know,” she said.
Public relations officer of Lagos State Police Command, Muyiwa Adejobi, said the interview was an old one and should be dismissed.
He said whatever was said in the video would not change the facts of what the police had gathered on Chidinma as the prime suspect in the murder of Ataga.
