Watford made Chelsea work for their win at Vicarage Road, as they stayed in the game and made it nervy for the league leaders

An off-the-field incident that occurred in the 12th minute almost marred the game between league leaders Chelsea, and another London club, Watford.
A fan had a medical emergency, and medical teams of both clubs graciously came together to give the fan first aid before being transported to the hospital.
The game resumed thereafter, with Chelsea taking the lead from a beautiful team goal scored by Mason Mount in the 20th minute to make it 1-0 to the visitors.

Watford responded in the 43rd minute when Moussa Sissiko’s assist was well finished by Nigerian Striker, Emmanuel Dennis to make it 1-1 to the home side.
The visitors took the lead once again in the 73rd minute after goal scorer, Mason Mount, turned a provider, and Hakim Ziyech lashed unto his pass to make it 2-1 to Chelsea.
The visitors held on to win despite a late rally from Watford. They stayed top of the league despite the wins from Liverpool and Man City
Chelsea were disjointed for long periods after Tuchel made six changes to the side that started the 1-1 draw with Manchester United on Sunday, yet this could prove a vital three points
