Ramsdale lost his place to David Raya after the latter was signed by Arsenal from Brentford

West London club, Chelsea are on the verge of making a shock move for Arsenal goalkeeper, Aaron Ramsdale in the aftermath of Robert Sanchez’s injury.
The Blue’s first choice keeper suffered a knee injury during their 2-0 defeat at Everton last weekend and he is expected to miss the entirety of the festive period.
During Sanchez’s absence, Chelsea will field former Major League Soccer (MLS) keeper Djordje Petrovic, as last season’s No 1, Kepa Arrizabalaga, is currently on loan at Real Madrid.

However, according to talkSPORT, Chelsea will look to strengthen their squad in that area when the January window opens.
The Stamford Bridge side have earmarked their arch-rivals goalkeeper, Ramsdale as the replacement for Sanchez and are ready to ramp up their interest in January.
The Gunners goolie lost his place after David Raya was signed by the North London club on loan from Brentford and he is increasingly getting desperate as EURO 2024 beckons.
Chelsea boss, Mauricio Pochettino on the other hand, is thought to be increasingly keen to sign players with Premier League experience.
