Maresca helped Leicester City to win the Championship and gain promotion back to the Premier League in the 2023/2024 season

Premier League club, Chelsea have announced the appointment of Enzo Maresca as the new manager of their men’s team.
The west London club made this known in a statement shared via their website on Monday.
Maresca, who helped Leicester City to win the Championship and gain promotion back to the Premier League during 2023/2024 season will begin his new role on July 1.
The Italian tactician according to the club signed a five-year contract with the Blues.
He also brought with him a six-strong backroom headed by his assistant and former Chelsea goalkeeper, Willy Caballero.

Also welcoming him to the club, Laurence Stewart and Paul Winstanley, Chelsea’s co-sporting directors, said: “We are delighted to welcome Enzo to Chelsea.
“He has proven himself to be an excellent coach capable of delivering impressive results with an exciting and identifiable style.”
Maresca after his appointment becomes the sixth manager under new owners Todd Boehly, Behdad Eghbali and Jose Feliciano (including temporary appointments).
The Blues parted ways with Mauricio Pochettino after the Argentine guided them to a 6th place finish in the Premier League last season.
