The holy matrimony between Chelsea gaffer, Thomas Tuchel and his wife, Sissi has come to an end after thirteen years of being together.
According to Daily Mail, Sissi began divorce proceedings, which later culminated in the separation between the duo last week.
This means that while Thomas was in the middle of the uncertainty surrounding Chelsea, he was also facing the possibility of a divorce.
A close friend of the family disclosed that all avenues to avoid the separation were exhausted, but the marriage defiled all reconciliatory efforts.

“Sissi and Thomas have tried to avoid splitting but in the end, there was no other way.
“It is very sad and now it is all about making sure their daughters are the top priority. Papers were lodged last week to get the divorce underway,” a source said.
Just 10 months ago, Sissi ran across the pitch at Porto’s Estadio do Dragao and jumped into Thomas Tuchel’s arms after The Blues defeated Man City to lift their second Champions League title.
Tuchel, who reportedly earns £7million a year at Chelsea faces a multi-million-pound divorce settlement now that the divorce has been finalised.
Sissi gave up her job as a journalist at the German newspaper, Süddeutsche Zeitung to bring up their family, so may be entitled to a slice of his future earnings, as well as up to half of his current fortune.
