Veteran singer and actor, Charles Oputa better known as Charly Boy has drawn a comparison between United States former President, Donald Trump and the Nigerian president, Bola Tinubu, calling the Republican Party presidential nominee “America’s Tinubu”
Speaking via his X page recently, the human rights activist, claimed members of Trump’s political party are trying to stop him from returning as American president in November.
Taking to his verified social media page, Charly Boy tweeted, “Many Republicans are now ready to STOP America’s Tinubu.”
In a subsequent post, he shared an old videos of American Vice President and Democratic Party presidential candidate, Kamala Harris and described her as a”fine girl”.
“Chai, see fine gal. Kamala was & still is, a fine lady,” the singer captioned the video.

Prior to this development, US President Joe Biden in late July, endorsed Harris as the Democratic nominee for the 2024 election after he dropped out of the race.
“Today I want to offer my full support and endorsement for Kamala to be the nominee of our party this year,” the president said on X.
TheNiche also reported that Harris effectively secured the nomination as Democratic Party’s presidential candidate on Friday, August 2 and will now face off with Republican candidate, Donald Trump during November elections.
The VP secured the Democratic nomination after receiving the majority of votes — at least 2,350 — from her party’s delegates, just one day after voting opened.
Speaking after she passed the delegate threshold, Harris said, “I am honored to be the presumptive Democratic nominee for President of the United States.”
