Celtic beat EPL champions, Man City 4-3 in preseason friendly 

Celtic won with the seventh goal of the encounter after Man City pegged them back twice through Oscar Bobb and Erling Haaland

English Premier League (EPL) champions, Manchester City were handed a wake up call following a 4-3 shock defeat to Celtic in their first game of the pre-season tour of the United States.

Although the Citizens started the game played at the Kenan Memorial Stadium, North Carolina, with big names like Erling Haaland and Jack Grealish, they were unable to overpower Brendan Rodgers’ men.

Celtic opened the scoring as early as the 13th minute of the encounter with a well-worked team goal scored by Nicolas-Gerrit Kuhn.

Oscar Bobb then restored parity in the 33rd minute before the Scottish champions scored twice towards the end of the first half through Kuhn and Kyogo Furuhashi to take a 3-1 lead into half-time.

Máximo Perrone pulled a goal back for Man City just seconds into the second half, before Haaland made it 3-3 in the 57th minute. 

However, substitute, Luis Palma ensured Celtic won by scoring the seventh goal of the highly intriguing game in the 68th minute.
